HKAGE Research Ranked 1st Level Award in Gifted Conference in China
(Hong Kong – 6 Nov 2019) The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) joined a conference on gifted and talent development held by the Chinese Association for the Gifted and Talented (CAGT) from 31 Oct to 2 Nov 2019. Dr Eric FUNG, Head of Research Division, and Mr Timmy CHENG, Research Officer, attended the conference. They had valuable discussions with tens of representatives from different parts of China on talent development and the latest trend of gifted education in China and overseas. Topics about training in the academic knowledge as well as a holistic development, including affective development and character strengths, were covered.
In the conference, 67 research reports were presented and HKAGE’s together with other 6 submissions were ranked with the first-level awards. Congratulations!
