【Principal's Nomination Enhanced with Visual Arts Track】

To enrich the talent pool that keeps pace with 21st century development, the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (Academy/HKAGE) continues to enhance its intake channels for gifted students by adding a new nomination slot for students with talent in the visual arts domain under the Principal’s Nomination in the 2024/25 school year. The principal of each primary or secondary school can nominate one student aged 10 to 18 with visual arts talent.

六學生初中科學奧林匹克獲獎
HKAGE in the News 長青網 2024年12月18日 六名學生代表香港參加第21屆國際初中科學奧林匹克，共奪得兩面金牌、四面銀牌，教育局局長蔡若蓮祝賀香港隊在賽事中表現卓越。 皇仁書院的陳祉橋、聖保羅男女中學的田雨暘各贏得一面金牌，銀牌得主為保良局第一張永慶中學的陳瑋榆，以及聖保羅男女中學的陳穎恩、馬琛悅、楊春澤。 蔡若蓮表示，香港隊在國際初中科學奧林匹克成績驕人，充分展現學生在科學、科技、工程、藝術和數學（STEAM）領域的才華和學習成果，值得讚賞。教育局會持續在中小學大力推動STEAM教育，培養學生的創新精神，同時進一步加強推動學校善用校本學生人才庫，發掘及培育更多STEAM精英。

Hong Kong students bag 2 gold, 4 silver medals at science Olympiad
HKAGE in the News China Daily 13 Dec 2024 HONG KONG – Six Hong Kong students have won as many medals – two gold and four silver – in the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad, the city's Education Bureau announced on Friday. Chan Tsz-kiu from Queen’s College and Timothy Tian from St. Paul’s Co-educational College each earned a gold medal.
