– Supporting the Promotion and Development of Digital Education and Artificial Intelligence to Nurture Future-Ready Talents with Innovation Capabilities

The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (the Academy) warmly welcomes the various initiatives set out in the First Five-Year Plan for the Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2026–2030) (Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan) and the Chief Executive’s 2026 Policy Address (Policy Address) aiming at promulgating digital education, the application of artificial intelligence and talent development. The Academy fully supports the direction of advancing educational innovation and nurturing future talents.

The Academy will align with the directions as in the Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan, the Policy Address and the Blueprint for Digital Education Development in Primary and Secondary Schools issued by the Education Bureau (EDB) and continue to develop gifted education and innovation and technology learning, equipping the younger generation with the literacy required for future development. The Academy will also strengthen collaboration with schools and various organisations to promote whole-person development. The Academy remains dedicated to cultivating a new generation of talents with an innovative spirit and a sense of social responsibility, thereby contributing towards the development of Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology centre and an international education hub.
