Study on Empathy and Sympathy of Adolescents
GE Insights The Research Division of the HKAGE and the Department of Educational Psychology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly conducted a study related to empathy and sympathy in 2019. This study aimed at understanding the situation of empathy, sympathy, and prosocialness of Hong Kong adolescents using appropriate self-report instruments. Group comparisons were made with respect to their gender, giftedness, and study interests, and implications of the results were briefly discussed.
