資優學苑開放校長提名予視藝人才 推動STEAM教育
星島網 在每個學年，中學校長都可以提名具領導才能的學生入讀香港資優教育學苑。學苑宣布，在2024/25學年，新增「視覺藝術範疇」名額，中小學校長都可以提名一個10歲至18歲，具有視藝才華的學生入讀，以推動STEAM及跨學科教育。

資優學苑新增視藝人才校長推薦名額
文匯網 香港資優教育學苑今日宣布優化招收資優生的渠道，在2024/25年度「校長提名」名額上新增「視覺藝術範疇」名額，每間中小學校的校長可提名一名10歲至18歲具有視藝才華的學生。連同現行給予中二至中四具領導才能學生的「領導才能範疇」名額，在新安排下，每間中學的校長共可使用「校長提名」名額提名兩人，而小學校長則可提名一名適齡學生。

六學生初中科學奧林匹克獲獎
長青網 2024年12月18日 六名學生代表香港參加第21屆國際初中科學奧林匹克，共奪得兩面金牌、四面銀牌，教育局局長蔡若蓮祝賀香港隊在賽事中表現卓越。 皇仁書院的陳祉橋、聖保羅男女中學的田雨暘各贏得一面金牌，銀牌得主為保良局第一張永慶中學的陳瑋榆，以及聖保羅男女中學的陳穎恩、馬琛悅、楊春澤。 蔡若蓮表示，香港隊在國際初中科學奧林匹克成績驕人，充分展現學生在科學、科技、工程、藝術和數學（STEAM）領域的才華和學習成果，值得讚賞。教育局會持續在中小學大力推動STEAM教育，培養學生的創新精神，同時進一步加強推動學校善用校本學生人才庫，發掘及培育更多STEAM精英。

【Emily】初中科學奧林匹克 港隊2金4銀
明報 2024年12月14日 【明報專訊】再有香港學生為港增光！6名中學生代表香港去到羅馬尼亞參加「國際初中科學奧林匹克」，喺52個國家或地區、約300名學生中脫穎而出，共奪得2金4銀嘅成績。 獲得金牌嘅學生係皇仁書院嘅陳祉橋同聖保羅男女中學嘅田雨暘，4個銀牌得主包括聖保羅男女中學嘅陳穎恩、馬琛悅同楊春澤，以及保良局第一張永慶中學嘅陳瑋榆。
