Hong Kong Young Physicists' Tournament 2026 (HKYPT 2026)
Eligibility
Secondary 1 to 5 full-time students in 2025/26 school year from registered whole-day schools in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for the tournament. Each school can send a maximum of two teams (consists of 2-5 students each) for the tournament and should have a supervisor as Teacher Coordinator.

Applications should be submitted via Application platform by the Teacher Coordinator. A school account has to be registered before the submission.
*Each school can nominate a maximum of two teams for the tournament. Please register each team separately.
**Please indicate the selected 2 problems when submit the application. (Problems for IYPT 2026)
***Note that the two teams from the same school must not report the same problems in both preliminary and final round, i.e. in total they must report 2 different problems during the preliminary, and 4 different problems during the Final.
The deadline of Preliminary Round submission is 12:00 noon 19 December 2025. Please read the Rules and Regulations carefully before submission.

An acknowledgment email with login credentials to the Platform will be sent to the Teacher Coordinator after Part I of your application has been submitted successfully. Teacher Coordinator needs to login the Submission Platform to complete Part II of the application and upload the preliminary round submission. Teacher Coordinator who does not receive the email must contact the HKAGE by the application deadline for verification.
*Once the application form is submitted, NO FURTHER CHANGES can be made.
